Website & Commerce Proposal
A complete website rebuild, online store, delivery system, and ongoing management, built for how 98 Flowers actually operates.
You have 16 years of work, two locations, 2,000+ customers, and 34,000 followers watching every week. The website is the one piece of the business still performing below the level you have already reached. This proposal fixes that, and we have already started.
Visitors who find you through Instagram or Google land on a generic WoodMart theme used by thousands of unrelated stores. Here is what it is working against you.
"Pick 3, Pay for 2" anchors visitors to a low price expectation. First impressions set what people will pay, and this one sets it too low.
You offer wedding florals from $1,950 and there is no page to capture that business. Every couple searching for a Houston wedding florist hits a dead end.
You have 2,300+ posts of stunning arrangements. None of that visual equity carries into the purchase experience.
No reviews, no customer count, no proof on the homepage to reinforce your "Houston's Best Florist" positioning at the moment of decision.
Visitors arrive, browse, and leave with no way for you to follow up, especially on high-consideration purchases like weddings.
WordPress with a full plugin load is slower than it needs to be, which hurts both search rank and conversion. Your black-and-gold identity barely shows.
See it at 98flowers.pages.dev. Here is what we built and why each decision matters.
Built in your real brand colors so it reads like a Houston luxury florist, not a theme template.
Full-bleed photography, an emotional headline, and your same-day promise visible in the first scroll.
Couples read your process, see your starting price, and submit a consultation request without a phone call.
Slide-out cart, streamlined checkout, and occasion tiles so customers find what they need fast.
Your 3 PM cutoff sits in the nav on every page. No customer misses it.
Built for phone orders first, with clean URLs and schema markup ready for your catalog.

You run two storefronts, an online store, and same-day delivery across Houston and Richardson. The payment stack should run all of it without making you manage three disconnected tools.
Square is the only system that runs both store registers, your online store, shared inventory across locations, and one customer database on a single platform. It also dispatches same-day delivery through Uber Direct and DoorDash, which connects directly to the delivery system below. You manage one system instead of three.
No monthly fee and 2.9% online. Stripe connects cleanly to the custom checkout we built and handles recurring billing well if you ever add a flower subscription. It is the right call if you want to keep overhead low and stay primarily online.
Our checkout is built to connect to either, so this decision never affects your site. Our recommendation is Square. Two locations, one system, delivery dispatch included.
Your own drivers stay in control of same-day local delivery. What changes is the experience around them.
The checkout validates the recipient's zip against your delivery zones and charges the right fee automatically. It enforces the 3 PM same-day cutoff so customers only see same-day when it is actually available, and it lets them pick a delivery date and time window.
Houston and Richardson deliveries run on your own team, exactly as they do today. The order arrives in your system with the address, timing, and card message ready.
When your drivers are at capacity, the system sends an on-demand courier through Uber Direct. Your customer simply sees "out for delivery." You keep the promise without turning away orders.
About $7 to $10 per delivery, only when usedOrders outside your delivery zone route to floral-safe shipping or a wire service by destination. This opens revenue you cannot capture today. Optional driver route optimization (Track-POD) is easy to add as you grow.
Track-POD route tool optional, about $49 to $79 per monthA one-time setup fee builds and launches your store. A monthly fee keeps it running, current, and growing. Choose the level that fits where you want to take the business.

You are not buying a website. You are buying a system built for how 98 Flowers actually operates, at a price most builders cannot match for the scope.
Kickoff call, domain and hosting transfer, product photos and catalog content, Square connection, delivery zone mapping.
Catalog live in the shop, Square payments tested end to end, delivery module configured, wedding inquiry form connected.
Full review with your team, SEO metadata and schema applied, analytics confirmed, training session.
DNS pointed, site live on your domain, launch confirmed across both locations, day-one monitoring.
Most agencies hand you a finished site and a training video. We stay on retainer, so when a seasonal product needs updating, a review needs a response, or your delivery zones change, you do not have to track down a freelancer or learn a CMS.
The clearest proof we can offer is simple. We built your new site before you hired us. Everything at 98flowers.pages.dev is live and ready. You can see exactly what your business looks like when the platform finally matches the brand. We show before we pitch.
Approve the Growth package and we schedule your kickoff within 48 hours. Your new store launches in three to four weeks. We send a simple agreement and a short onboarding form to collect what we need for Week 1.
